fortunes-fr software package provides French fortunes cookies, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fortunes-fr
fortunes-fr is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fortunes-fr package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fortunes-fr *
You will get with fortunes-fr package name, version, architecture and description in a table
